Barwell v Darlo match thread

Post by Darlogramps » Sat Nov 28, 2015 2:42 pm

Armstrong is back, Thommo is on the bench and Gibbons is in at right back.

Team today: Jameson; Gibbons, Galbraith, Portas, Burgess (c), Hunter, Mitchell, Scott, Armstrong, Cartman, Kneeshaw.

Subs: Gaskell, Provett, Nowakowski, Thompson, Dowson.

For me Nowakowskl has got to start in central midfield ahead of Scott, far more comfortable on the ball and offers more height on set pieces.

Would agree with that , but lets how it goes today, Where's Brown? thought he might make the bench at least.

Although Scott has been our best Central midfielder in the last half dozen games..

The commentary did not make it clear, but the public loudspeaker announced a 46th minute goal.

Too many weaknesses in the side, Gibbons and Scott do not do it for me, Mitchell is having a poor season and Kneeshaw has done nothing.Badly missing Whitey, Brown and Turnbull and was letting You hill go the right decision?.Over to you MG

Looks like Gray has gone to his favoured formation 3-3-5.

Letting Youhill go was a mistake the only out and out winger we had at the club, Mitchell has been poor so far this season.

Definitely missing Turnbulls experience and creativity in the centre of the park. Let's hope the weather is kind to us next week so we can get a home game in.

Disappointing, but other results have done us a favour. Perhaps Pools can do another against Salford and rub salt into their wounds. Just shows the danger of having games in hand rather than points in the bag. The sooner we get back into town, the better.
