Some other extra bits and bobs about Marine. They've just signed a player called Luke Holden who apparently has played in the Champions League... for Rhyl. He's 26 and this is his 14th club... not bad going. Interesting record with his last club Connah's Quay Nomads: Played 17 games for them, scored 4 goals, 2 red cards and 8 yellows. Competitive, combative... summat like that.
Marine are bringing a coach-load of fans... 34 at the last count. But they are under strict instructions to mind their Ps and Qs.
The organiser warned those hitting the road: "We do not want a repeat of a minority of fans using bad language on the coach and from Salford. This is a family friendly coach. Anyone slipping below the high standards of Marine AFC supporters will be stopped from travelling on future coaches. The same warning applies to anyone bringing flares/smoke bombs to matches. We can create a great atmosphere by singing and shouting. Come on Marine!"
Could be fireworks on and off the pitch

Fair play to their fans, for coming so far, when they're struggling in the league.
Re: Darlington v Marine Preview
Luke is still a talented player. Has been playing in the Liverpool County Premier League for the last couple of seasons for Waterloo Dock as well.
I had his name last season for dissent.
