Think he`s had a good season so far just needs to add a few goals to give him a bigger boost

FT 0-3 and we could be top if our commentator has it right and Colwyn are 1-1 with Nantwich. :D

PS Thanks for the commentary, been sorely missed.

Excellent result! The Evo Stick web site has it recorded as FT 2-0. Did the third goal stand?

Steady away win - may need to step up a gear or two for October.

Darlo go top again, on goal difference, but Blyth still have a game in hand.

Very good performance overall, cartman was outstanding and linked up with Youhill really well. Youhills goal was a tremendous finish, and cartmans was well worked. Ramsbottom were a lot poorer team than when they played at Heritage Park though, but we took full advantage. Crowd was interesting must have been 250 darlo fans out of overall 340 attendance.

Only my 2nd game of the season but I thought defence overall looked good. Hunter played well, Burgess did not really do too much wrong, but Whitey was the one still barking the instructions. Tez will probably be the first to admit he did not play well unless going forward. I thought Youhill ran his socks off and got back to help out defence particularly in the 1st half. I heard Armie apologise to MG when he came off but I thought he worked hard, but is still clearly not match fit, his goal was down to persistence. Roll on Skem!

... loved today ... More like the Darlo I know we can be ... Cartman was beyond outstanding .... Only Darlo fans can say Rammy are in a false position before k/o ... and when we annihilate them (which we did in such a convincing way) ... do some say ... well they are bottom of the league and they were crap etc etc etc etc ...

Anyway ... Like I say ... Well done lads ... Your faces in the bar after says it all really ... You enjoyed it ( and so did we)

As for Rammy ... I take it all back ... Great fans .... (the handful that bothered to turn up) and the ticket lady ... and nice set of players who lost in good grace and wished us well as we departed on our merry way.

Just to let you all know, there's an online version of the programme from today's game at:

http://www.issuu.com/rufc

Apparently they sold out at 2:15pm cos the chairman is a bit nuts and only orders a handful.

We've had loads of nutty chairmen. Keep trying Rammy, we had a very determined team out there today.

Cartman ran his socks off and Armstrong being back makes a huge difference.

Felt sorry for Leon not starting as had a good game at Ilkeston.Thought he deserved a start.
Seemed to be Darlo fans everywhere.

Onto Skem, difficult game but if we show the same fight as we did at Ilkeston we will be fine.
