For those going by train,looks expensive once you get the tram to Bury if coming from Manchester.Tram stops at the bus station anyway so not a prob............

Many thanks for getting in touch. I’m afraid you will not be able to purchase a Bury – Ramsbottom Return on Saturday 26th September as this is during our Autumn Diesel Gala. The shortest journey available will be full line return tickets priced at £14.50 for adults and £9.20 for children.

Great real ale bar at their Bury station (pre-match tipples in years gone by). Usually have steam locos pottering around.

If using public transport you're best off getting a system one day ticket for £6.70 which can be used on any bus or tram in Greater Manchester
