Steve Staunton knew a good player when he saw one.

To be fair to Staunton, a couple of the 6,000 players he brought in were decent.

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

I thought he was more than decent in a crap team, I liked him. Shame he got cropped after he left us. The other Irish lad I think I recall that season (small midfielder wasn't he?) had little skill, but gave 110% every match which was more than you could say for most of them!

Gary Dempsey was it?

I think a couple of our loanees from that season have since established themselves in the Championship/League One and League Two.

Purcell, Hoult, Devitt (I think he was a Staunton signing, may be wrong).

David Davis was it? Was he at Villa or Birmingham or Wolves. Can't remember which...or all 3?
