Darlington FC official home page
I have just sent an email to ask if the club could update the league table on the home page to show the league we are now in.
Help get the club back to Darlo by helping to spread the word about the "Back to Darlo!" fund. The image on the right will be constantly updated with the latest total so please feel free to use the image link below the thermometer on your own signatures, blogs, websites, etc. | Image link: http://www.mydarlo.co.uk/img/BTD-therm-350x100.jpg |

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Re: Darlington FC official home page
Disappointing when we get to the point where winning a toss wins you the game. We should have gone home at 11am
I expected better from a Lords pitch but I guess we're running scared of Johnson & Starc

Let's see how we fare before calling it a loss. A draw would be fine and definitely still achievable.divas wrote:Disappointing when we get to the point where winning a toss wins you the game. We should have gone home at 11am

Yep coming out to bat on a 2nd/3rd day pitch with 600+ to score to break even is a massive ask and pressuredivas wrote:Scoreboard pressure is the killer in these situations
Re: Darlington FC official home page
The Aussie's won't bat to 600 - they need a win so will put us in at 450/500, probably lunch tomorrow. If (and it is a big if) can get well bedded in and bat through until tea on Saturday and avoid the follow on, it'll be far from over.Bogratsteve wrote:Yep coming out to bat on a 2nd/3rd day pitch with 600+ to score to break even is a massive ask and pressuredivas wrote:Scoreboard pressure is the killer in these situations

If they have so many wickets in hand, they'll bat all day today. As the opposition will just get weaker and the pitch will deteriorate.

Whether they bat until lunch or beyond, I fear our chance of avoiding defeat is about as likely as McIlroy winning this year's Open.
But someone remind me, what was this thread about?

Re: Darlington FC official home page
A small suggestion (I don't know if it's possible or wanted by many!), but is it possible to have the competition on the fixtures page too? For example, there are 2 Blyth away games listed, and so someone has to go to a different page/site to find out which one is the league match. Even if it's just a note when a match isn't a league match?Sidarlo wrote:Yes i will do.Mr_Tibbs wrote:Can you also remove the digits after our name in the league table Simon?Sidarlo wrote:It will be done this morning . I'l have a play around with it, I'm sure it's been looked at before and we couldn't do it.al_quaker wrote:A small suggestion (I don't know if it's possible or wanted by many!), but is it possible to have the competition on the fixtures page too? I'' chase it up over the weekend see what we can do with it.
Would be helpful to have the competition though i agree.
Back to the topic anyway. We have a Wicket! i'm tempted to pile money on a draw. Pitch looks pretty road like
Re: Darlington FC official home page
Great stuff.
Yes, as long as we don't collapse in the first innings, we should be able to get a draw out of this. Should....

Double hundred from Roooooooot will do the trick of knocking some of the 5000 the Aussies will score before they get board.
