New Echo Facebook page

The Echo has launched a new Facebook page for Darlo FC for anyone who's interested. Likes, shares, comments gratefully received.

Not sure about the rumours part of the title.... do we really need another avenue which encourages "I've heard" type stuff?

it just links articles to the website which i cant read anyway, now if the Darlington and Stockton Times had a page ;)

Agree with TFDM. Isn't it the job of the media to investigate and publish the truth behind rumours, rather than encourage them. It was in my day.

Theyve removed all the football stories havent they?

trying to force people to subscribe to the Echo - well I guess thats another website to remove from the favourites!

EDIT: If I need to read an article, I'll actually just view the source code instead.

If I use my Ipad and link through from the stories on twitter to the Echo I don't get asked for subscription............

Seems my phone doesnt bring up the subscription bit at all.

I'll check the home PC tonight, as Im sure that didnt either last time I checked, but the works one does.

I think it is the amount of times you use it on a set time scale...Something like reading 20 stories per 30 days.
Could be wrong though.

It's probably a fair price, but as I'm one of those people who's got by perfectly on cyberspace without paying for anything, the echo is sadly just another site I've stopped reading (sorry Craig S)
