What a brilliant article, I love his attitude and the fact that he wants to play for us is a real bonus.

So the filler for the rest of this summer is to come up with a rhyme for his surname? Theosaurus time anyone.

Pretty sure it can rhyme with hokeycokey...Is it No-va-kov-ski or No-va-kow-ski?

It also rhymes with Lewandowski the Bayern striker if anyone has a chant to compare the two?

Yes "Ohhh Adam Nova-Kov-Ski" would go to the hokey cokey tune.

He plays in midfield, up front or in goal (add whatever positions you like).

He puts his left leg in!He puts his right leg in, he wins the ball for Darlo and we attack again, he does the Nowakowski and he spreads it around, that's what it's all about....ooooooooh Adam Nowakowski

He puts the tackles in, never pulls out, in, out, in out, he plays all about. Sing Adam Nowakowski and turn around, that's what it's all about...Woah Adam Nowakowski, Woah Adam Nowakowski, Woah Adam Nowakowski...Upfront, Midfield, D F C.

Repeat but end it with defence, in goal, D F C...

I want to keep the "turn around" bit in simply because they are the actions required in the tin shed...

I think we need clarification on how to pronounce his name - my money's on Novakovski.

Having worked in Poland for three years I can definitely confirm that w is pronounced as v so Novakovski it is without a doubt. Let the hokey pokey begin!

I spoke to Adam the other night for the website piece.
The w's in his name are pronounced as V's (as somebody suggested above)

I really hate that term destroyer. It just doesn't work for me in a footballing sense. Makes him sound rubbish when he isn't
