Yeah and the Premier league is getting richer... They need to put some money in the lower leagues because if it weren't for grass roots they won't be any football...

The owners have put the club up for sale, it doesn't say anywhere that they are leaving it in a mess.

On another note it looks as if New Mills may be reprieved from relegation due to all the turmoil.

Seems the NFU players have tweeted to the effect they have all been released from their contracts and that club are seeking voluntary relegation possibly 2 divisions

quakerste is right. The owners have put the club up for sale, as they can't see themselves taking the club any further forward. It's probably a good time to sell after they won the FA Trophy.

Sad times. But what we are visible to now, is this happens every year.

And why the likes of Fylde and Salford should not be allowed to spend uncontrollably beyond their means. For evey Fleetwood, there are fifty North Ferribys. Financial fair play needs to be implemented further down the pyramid to secure the future of the sport.

We all moan about the lack of ambition from the Northern League, but at least most of the clubs know their limitations financially.

And whilst Spenny have and will continue to spend big, they at least appear to have done the groundworks first.

I'm all for more investment lower down the leagues, it's needed far more here, and it's usually as a generous donation as there is no chance of a return, it is for the love of the club. But it needs more regulation. As we know all too well, the FA just don't care. When really they should take pride in the greatest football league structure in the whole world.

The bigger frustration with NL is that clubs have some money but instead of spending it on progression they instead inflate wages.

Ambition would be progressing as far as you can and not artificially investing beyond that. That is a bit different to the NL situation.

I don't understand the New Mills reference, unless an extra team is to be promoted from Darlo's league. Having finished second there may be grounds for Darlo gaining promotion regardless of play-off results.

The FA always reprieve rather than cherry pick.

Do one Spen, you two faced get.

Slagging us all off on twitter the other day, calling it "kyle uncovered", then you're on here contributing as if it's a good place to be.

Put more money into the lower leagues and they'll just pay bigger wages, not use it to survive easier.

Still smarting from your humiliating tweet complaining Kendal and Clitheroe didn't roll over and let Darlington win?

You live in an alternative reality, let me assure you that I was less than bothered about your misunderstanding of my post, and I'm not talking about that - I'm talking about the way you go on about us behind our backs then act differently on here to our faces.

At least be honest with yourself instead of being two faced.

He's at it again today - it's pathetic, and also rather amusing at the same time. We've left most of the NL cranks behind (although they haven't left us behind), but unfortunately we still have spen.

It's pathetic that all Spen does in his life is troll non-league messageboards.

What a pitiful existence he leads. Even Spennymoor fans think he's an embarrassment.

I'm stunned that someone who is so blatantly a troll is still allowed on here by the moderators.
