Salford did well to get 4 players considering they changed most of the team mid-season.

I know I might be a bit biased but no places for Portas or White.
Jameson and Mitchell have also been good this season

Very North West centric as expected. Surprised to see no Spennymoor players in there either.

You'd think the team with the best defensive AND goalscoring record in the league would get more than one player who'd been with the club all season in the team.

Hey-ho

The four in have played all season mind.

I did see Radcliffe Borough managers team that he put in and it had 2 players for Salford that have only played in this divison since January.

Done well to get two players in the team in regards to Hunter and Cartman, although Cartman is largely in for his exploits at Harrogate.

Let's face it generally if you have two players at similar level you will vote in the one you know better so more than likely always going to be a NW centric team. Most if not all of the players in the team have been good this season and probably matched the exploits of our lads.

Its great to see Chris Hunter finally get the recognition he deserves, hes been brilliant in defence since signing for us, always been one that doesn't seem to get the praise he deserves

Has Coo played all season? Whilst Madeley is a very good player I've seen him on the bench a lot.

Wouldn't swap Jamieson for the entire Lancaster team. Hale is a decent keeper mind, no matter what the darlo fans were mentioning regarding his weight.

Also it seems like a back 4 and the rest are pretty much strikers or wife men of a 3 up front

Coo has played most of the season as far as I have seen, Madeley played week in week out until they signed the 8 Ramsbottom players.

The choice is 1 GK 2 CB's a LB, RB, 3 midfielders and 3 Strikers.

Waddecar played up front against us. Think he's also played as a wide-man and so has Madeley. It's a very attacking team is all I can say. Never even heard of Field from Warrington

Warrington having the same number of players in the team as we do is ridiculous.

On our thread for our player of the season the 'top' names mentioned are Hunter, Portas, Watson and Armstrong.

Hunter - already in
Watson - wasn't in this league all season, so fair enough
Armstrong - I think fairly pipped by Cartman/Seddon
Portas - I would argue he should be in over the other midfielders named

The only other one I would throw in is Jameson > Hale.

The league is North-West centric not sure why would you expect the TOTY to be any difference?

Jameson is not the best keeper in the league. He's good, and he's going to get better, but he's not there yet.

Mitchell and Portas should be in that team though.

White is the best centre half in this division by a country mile. Similarly, Portas the best midfielder. I would put these 2 ahead of a lot of players on that list.

True but White has been absent for a while due to discipline so that maybe counts against him, last season he played more games.

Seen Lynch play out of position at RB for Salford v Scarborough and he was excellent, I can see why he would be selected especially with the way it's voted for.

I'm astonished Clitheroe's Jason Hart doesn't feature. Scores for fun, I hear.
