Quakers ‘500 Club’ tickets – help is on hand!

Any fans requiring information or wishing to pay by cheque for a ‘500 Club’ 5-year season ticket, help will be on hand in the bar at Heritage Park for the matches against Lancaster on Wednesday and Northwich on Saturday.

The same service is also available at Quaker Retail at Blackwell Meadows during their normal opening hours of 10am to 1pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Please pass this message on to anyone you know that benefit from it.

That's fantastic, don't fancy your costs of travelling up here, as it's a canny trip up from Milford Haven.

Usually only make it a couple of times a season. Will be up for Easter Weekend, after that it's probably down to Mr. Camelot or Mr. Betfred if I'm to be up again this season. Looking forward to first home game back in town & that's the next savings target if the above mentioned donors fail to assist.

When I went down paypal route I was given the option to pay by credit card.
Which suggests the credit card option might still be open.

When was this? This is a new development.

Maybe I misread it, maybe it said 'paypal was an option for paying by credit card'. I didn't look too closely because I had already decided to use paypal.
In any case, bulletin on official site makes it quite clear that cheque and BACS are the only available options until paypal is resolved.

That also goes for Ozzman who lives down Nottingham way in my memory hasn't deserted me completely.

I think the club mat struggle to sell the kids tickets as part of this offer, as no doubt a good few of our more junior fans are in there early teens, so presumably they wouldn't be able to use them once they left school, or college?

Excellent idea, I have proposed something similar previously but only on the basis of my one ST. If there are quite a few exiles only using their ST's occasionally, then this could attract kids who may become future paying fans long term.

I have suggested to DFC that they can offer a 5 year player kit sponsorship deal (say £500 for shirt sponsorships), with participants having first refusal on existing player identities and first pick on the rest on a first paid first choice basis. 20 players say x 2 shirts, so could raise up to £20,000 up front.

With increased crowds in town, especially for national cup games & big-3 friendlies any lost income for years 2-5 should be readily recouped.

Hope the schemes can get us a 3,000 capacity ground in time for high profile friendlies in July.

My wife saw me itching to buy a 500 club ticket at our home in Norway, as I had mentioned that at least 6 other fellow DAFTS (from the UK) had already bought their tickets.

I bought mine tonight. I hope to get a job in London prior to next season starting, if so my son and wife can fly over for selected home game weekends and there may be some mid-week away games that I can manage to get to.

I buy a lot of club merchandise each year, so the discount there is a big bonus.

Darlington Council should want a cut of all PAID car parking, as they did at the Arena, at least £2 per day, so their total stranglehold on in-town parking isn't threatened.

I suggest the club doesn't charge, so that more home & away fans are attracted to travel and attend from afar, but the Council may insist we charge. Disabled parking can be provided anyway.

Wasn't just Reynolds, owners after him insisted the council took a percentage and forced us to charge a minimum fee. I think the confusion could be the council took a cut of the car parking charges to pay for the administration of the residents permit scheme.

Wonder what will happen at BM then. High demand for asphalted places only, or using the spare rugby pitches as well.

Would be a good incentive for attendance & using the facilities more if parking were free of charge, assuming disabled had some spaces allocated.

Mowden estate for example has no bus service at night during the week, so pooled cars and taxis may be needed for night games, especially for the OAPs and kids.

There may be less queuing (on a major road) to get in if parking were free.

I don't think the club paid much of anything towards the residents parking scheme. The youth players delivered the visitor permits at the beginning of every season
