Weekend

Post by D_F_C » Wed Feb 04, 2015 1:08 pm

It's time to move on from Saturday.

The sooner we play the better and hopefully the team will put in a shift to show last week was a small blip.

Anyone know what to expect from the weather and whether the game is in danger?

This is the BBC weather forecast for Bishop Auckland.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2655583

I'd say the game is more likely to go ahead than be cancelled.

Heritage Park will be frozen till May.

Seriously though don't think it's seen much football recently.
For you to insult me, I must first value your opinion.

We need a win. A big win would show that they may have won the battle but we are prepared to win the war every weekend from now until the end of the season.

The ground in the area is very dry currently but rock solid but it looks to warming a bit, reckon it will be on.

Don't let Darlogramps see you are discussing the weather for Saturday and whether the game is in doubt or you will get a big telling off!

That's great and everything but what I really want to know is if I can buy a pie during the game?

What is everyone's predictions for the catering?

Pie or no pie?

I think we need to get our priorities in order here.

You finished wanking darlogramps off now? [WINKING FACE]

Silly response aside, if you attended home games you'd know we have the catering side running smoothly!

No Pie, reckon the chip sand curry sauce will be the fav come Saturday and maybe a cursory glance at the game in between throwing a case of ale down my neck and abusing anyone that will listen, top day sorted.

Nice that everyone is talking about me. Just what I want to see.

And no, I've never been a teacher.

It wasn't that you were discussing the weather.

It was that you were getting into a hysterical flap and criticising the club for no good reason.

As it turned out, everything was fine and your panicking was wholly unnecessary.
So my problem was with you rather than any discussion of the weather.

Shouldn't that be [WANKING FACE]?

All I did was say one of his posts was "good" anyways, which it was, so no need to get jealous. [WINKING FACE].

And as long as we've got the important stuff sorted like stuffing our faces with pies and getting smashed off our tits and not queuing for more than 20 seconds for anything then who cares about the game of football right?

Darlogramps My point was I believed there should be clearer communications from both clubs before last weeks game (bearing in mind previous postponements) it wasn't just pointed at us. I didn't say anything I have not already emailed the club (Darlo) about previously. if you are satisfied with the official information you were provided with (or not provided with) then that is up to you.
Now can we get down to the real business of guessing what you do/did for a living? Give us a clue please. xxx

I'm not getting into another discussion about this, but the fact the game went ahead without the need for a pitch inspection shows your hissy fit on here last week was an overreaction.

If you remember, you were demanding that the club put info on their website about a pitch inspection - when there wasn't any inspection to talk about.

So you were wrong and just looking to moan about something.

I'm not going on about it any further in this thread, so if you want to reply, do it via DM.
