We have aquired the services of Adam Cocks & David Mitchell on loan. How do you rate them?

Cocks is a decent CM, gets the ball and passes it. During the time we had a number of injuries he played a good number of games for us and never let us down. If he digs in and concentrates on his football over the next few years he will do quite well, he won't let you down but don't expect him as an 18/19 year old to dominate the play.

Mitchell another one who when he has played for us has not let us down, probably slightly behind Adam in his progress but still decent player. Again he won't dominate and will need leaders around him but a steady away player.

Hope they both do very well for you, both were playing for Crook early on in the season but have both played for us in the Evostik.

Couple of good promising lads who have a bit of experience of the 1st XI, expect both to feature in the coming season or 2 if they carry on progressing

Mitchell has played at right back and centre half, when I have seen him pre-season. He was captain of the kids team and our youth oriented manager rates him highly. Cocks has been used to spell off other players in midfield.

Both are ready for adult competitive football elsewhere, now that Darlo have our 1st team squad back to up to full complement.

Mitchell started in defence & Cocks came on as a sub in our 4-0 away at Whitley Bay.
