Bamber Bridge V Darlington FC

Post by poppyfield » Sat Dec 13, 2014 10:32 am

Just thinking of team selection for today. and how Robinson, Mota and Nearney are going to fit in. The RB and CB is the problem.
It could be,
Jameson.
Robinson Nearney White Watson.
Mitchell Portas Scott Thompson.
Armstrong Purewal.
or may be,
Jameson.
Mitchell Robinson White Watson.
Mota Portas Scott Thompson.
Armstrong Purewal.

Very tough game today. Need a big game from White I think. I'd definitely start with Robinson, who is a good player but has been out for a while so could be a bit rusty. Bamber Bridge are a good side, so I'd be happy with a draw today.

Andrew, the lad that does the commentary, is a self employed taxi driver, and posted somewhere (might have been on here, or on twitter), that he was going to be extremely busy over the Christmas and new year period, so won't be doing the commentary over this period.

I'd imagine it will be into the New year before normal service is resumed.

Cheers mate, can't blame him for "making hay" but by God he's missed by us exiles.

Nope Le Bettaix just below Les Menuires in the Trois Vallee. Pretty poor snow, fortunately there is some ski-ing at Val Thorens, but the snow is far from brilliant.

Superb result. I would have been happy with a draw because of the suspensions, so that is brilliant.

Last year wasn't great either. We'll need to start going to Dubai soon to guarantee good snow

P.S. Well done, Darlington.

P.P.S. Well done, Hartlepool, keeping it down to four.
