Re: CIC AGM
Any news from tonight? I couldn't make it due to childcare.
Re: CIC AGM
Main points were
A) to go through CIC accounts
B) Vote on the proposals put forward by the FC
C) Outline reasoning and vote on proposed merger of CIC,SC and Trust including vote on possible name
D) Any other questions
Still loads of share certificates to be picked up at the club shop, and within them there will be hospitality and club shop vouchers depending on how much you put in

Re: CIC AGM
From a personal point of view thought it was quite good, I can see where the CIC is trying to move to which is good.
Went through the secretary's report and accounts which explained where we are now in terms of finances and how we got there.
The key discussion point was the move from a CIC to a CBS (Community Benefit Society) which is a supported model by Supporters Direct. Once this is in place the possibility/proposal for an amalgamation of the Trust and Supporters Club into the CBS to create one fans group with an approx 62% or 64% ownership of DFC1883.
So if things go through we would have one board who would have majority ownership of the club.
Questions were asked around the move back to Darlington of which the CIC board made clear this is now in the hands of the Football Club and the Rugby Club who would annoucnce anything in agreement. The main point was things have been moving and hopefully more information will be released soon by the club (hopefully at the fans forum).

Re: CIC AGM
Also over 70 members attended which looked quite a decent turnout.
Those there voted positive towards the clubs recommendations that were sent out which I gives the board the answer in how to vote at the 1883 AGM.
