Josh Nearney from Pools on a month loan signign, from the Echo.

19 year old lad.

The young centre-back signed his first professional contract with the Club in June 2014 having impressed the hierarchy during his spell in the youth set-up.

Nearney joined the Club at Under 16 level from Middlesbrough and quickly earned a reputation for being a strong, dominating defender who is also capable of getting the ball down and playing.

As well as performing consistently for the Youth Team during 2013/14, Nearney made a successful step up in to the Reserve Team and showed his cultured approach to defending.

A graduate of the well-known Wallsend Boys Club, the teenager has a real physical presence and got forward to grab three goals for the Youth Team and two for the Reserves last season.

Encouraging that he has played for the reserve team and 'has a real physical presence'. I would worry if he was straight from a youth only set up that he would be able to deal with the sort of big hard (maybe not very skilful) forwards you sometimes get at our level - hopefully at reserve level he has come across a bit of physicality.

It'll be good for him to be surrounded by winners.

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.
