Guaranteed TV that one, possibly the Gateshead/Warrington one too. Great publicity for the smaller clubs in the north east, and great potential humiliation for one club in particular

Only thing against them being on is the smaller side is away.

Still will both get a lot of hype even if they dont get the live slots

..... with 1500 or so Spartans on the march it will be ..... dare I say it .... like a cup final for those poolie types ....

When I saw the hyped up media presentation of that nasty Warrington managers "inspired team talk" ..... I switched it off (to vomit) ... Inspired indeed .... If only the BBC knew the true story .... But there again, they probably do

Inspirational .... .... Good grief!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's an inspired CHEAT ....

Not sure how they're going to work the Pools v Blyth game as there will be more Blyth fans wanting tickets the pools probably. And I fancy them to win there.

Warrington will thankfully get beaten by the heed.

If Blyth were at home it would stand a better chance of being televised live.

That said, it's not as though there are that many ties where the non-leaguers are at home.

Gateshead - Warrington is a possibility, but it's two non-leaguers so I don't really think that would generate much interest outside of the two clubs.

Hartlepool v Blyth is a shoo-in to be televised. Scunthorpe v Worcester will be too and at a guess Barnsley v Chester, although the Gateshead match is a possibility too.

It was a pretty poor draw to be honest, so it's slim pickings in terms of the televised games.

2nd round prize money is £27k  Here's hoping for better fortunes in the cup for us next year.

Something like Hartlepool 0 - 4 Blyth would be.... heaven

But your original comment is saying the most skill-ful and fittest team will win.

Nothing about who is at home or away.

My point was that Warrington beat a league side, despite the "skill & fitness" that wins games.

The hangers away in the cup! How much a lot of us would relish that prospect? I was at the game away to pools in fa cup when we won 4-2! What a day and even think Brumwell got a couple of goals! 900 or so behind the goal and 250 in stand to the right! With it being an fa cup game would think Blyth get the same ticket allocation! Could of been us again! Good luck Blyth!

Hartlepool will still win home or away makes no difference .I think your just jealous there still playing higher league football and your languishing in the depths of non league football . Boyo

billy, the tv like to show cup upsets... they usually seem to go along with the home team has an advantage hence the lower league team is usually at home for the televised games for the best chance of the upset... if you actually stop and think here...poorlie are at home so maybe they are viewing this tie as a possible upset with the chimps winning...after all its blyth have the better cup pedigree after all.
