I hope they get stuffed to, only for Reid. But, this takes me back to Feethams and the fireworks going off at the back of Polam Lane, the cheers when they went off, the excitement and noise. Can t wait to have it back, and we will one day.

Watching on bbc2 live, Exeter are poor, Warrington are a typical evo stick side, if we were playing out there tonight there would be no doubt we would be several goals up. Hope warrington get beat because of the stunt they pulled at our place last august. No love lost with this lot. Still one nil to Warrington but exeter are getting in to their stride. 38 minutes left.

Warrington deserved the win to be fair for the effort they put in.

I would love a cup run like that for Darlo, wasn't to be this year but the good news is we will be in the draw next year and get another go.

67k was the TV money, 18k approx is the winning money, then add in gate receipts and the money they will make in Rnd 2.

Warrington are bigger than Sean Reid so basically well done to them. Great news for the Northern Premier more importantly. I thought Exeter were a class above Warrington to be honest - just wasn't their night.

Maybe the pitch didn't help Exeter?

What!!!.I hope you're not suggesting Reid resorted to a bit of gamesmanship. :o

It's an old cliche - the pitch being a leveller - but teams at our current level are far more used to playing on unpredictable surfaces. Most pitches at league 2 and above are flat and consistent. From the little I watched Exeter couldn't seem able to get any rhythm going and I'm sure the pitch was a big factor. Eased for the Warrington fans and players. But not for their conniving gutless manager.

Interesting how the BBC commentary team managed to get a word with Reid part way through the first half to ask him if he expected his team to be one up after 20 minutes. What he said:
"Too be honest I expected us to be two up after 20 minutes"
What he didn't say:
"Bit like Darlo in our first match of the season and we still haven't got a reserve keeper".
