FA Cup Draw

Post by DarloDean » Mon Oct 27, 2014 7:41 pm

Nice to see we *could* of had Altrincham, would of brought a few fans to the game and made some good publicity, even more if we won.

See BBC doing what's normally and putting c**** daily on the TV. Shaun Reid

I "could" have bought a ground for Darlington FC if I had the correct numbers last Friday

Warrington looks like it could be a TV game, you can guarantee any money they make will be thrown into the team next year.

Fancy either Canvey Island/Havant & Waterlooville v Preston. Of Coventry v Worcester. They normally go for a game where there could be a shock. Or where there is a 'big' name involved.

Tempted to go to the Blyth game. As I need to be in Newc on the night which rules out Mossley.

If shildon win the replay... Surely Shildon v gateshead could be in with a shout for the TV game?

Not Cup related but Warrington should give free entry to travelling Darlo fans at the return league fixture. We all paid and travelled to see a game of football but got short changed by Mr Reid's cowardly actions.

I reckon Worcester City got the plum tie - away to Coventry. I think there'll be a big crowd for that one.

Hope the BBC dont have a microphone by his dugout as Reids mouth in the away game last season with women and kids close by was awful.I can swear with the best of them but Im wary of whos around, hes not.

67.5k for being on TV as well as Gate receipts and the money from winning the rounds. The FA Cup can be a cash generator, that's probably Warrington's budget paid for next season.

This is where having Peter Reid's brother as your manager comes in handy - no doubt that's played a big part in the decision to go with this game. Lots of easy career comparison type articles and interviews to be had. They also have a chap in their team who was part of the Liverpool squad that won the Champions League in 2005, so there's another bit of easy journalism.

As you say, Warrington will now have money to spend, probably next season, making it all the more imperative that we get promotion this season. We will forever be cursed with at least one club at our level, whatever level we're at, coming in to a large sum of money and spending their way to the top of the league.

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.
