Darlington v West Auckland
So who's making the trip?
I've decided last minute to book the night off work to come, last 2 night games I have been to at Heritage Park have resulted in defeats. Curzon Ashton & Ramsbottom.
Can see around 900/1000 there for this.

It's going to be tricky, I have to be up at four for the airport in the morning but don't want to miss more games than I have to so will be there.
Are England playing Wednesday? I hope people don't choose to watch that instead

I'll be going and bringing 2 that don;t normally go to games. I'd be disappointed if we don't get a 1000 to the game, as West Auckland should bring a few to the game.

Re: Darlington v West Auckland
So what are the thoughts on team selection for tonight?
If we are going to play a passing game tonight then I would start with Saturdays line up with the exception of Reed in for Scott possibly.
I would like to see Dowson play a full game and pair up with Hatch 2nd half taking off either Armstrong or Thompson
I wonder if Purewal will be fit after he spent most of the halftime warm up sat on the bench on Saturday

Jameson
Brown, Hunter, White, Galbraith
Scott, Mitchell, Portas
Thompson
Armstrong, Dowson
Bell, Richardson, Reed, Purewal, Hatch, Fisher.
Too much of an important game financially to risk changing it too much. I expect us to win comfortably playing on a decent surface. But this is the FA Cup, so who knows.

i would go with the team dickdarlington has put
Have to go full strength tonight and hopefully we can win the game in the first 45/60 minutes before thinking about resting players for the weekend

Well lets hope Thompson and Scott are switched on tonight, sure Saturday was just a blip in terms of their performance

Richardson should start. Catch them off guard, he's an unknown quantity after all.
For you to insult me, I must first value your opinion.

Re: Darlington v West Auckland
Sorry. Robinson.
Reading Thommo's tweets, he knows as much as the rest of us that he's off his game. I expect a big performance from him tonight. And if the first thing he tries comes off, he'll destroy them. However, you can see him getting more and more frustrated, and bookings aren't far away for him if his dip in form continues.

I would be happy enough with the team that DD produced. Would prefer it to be a 4-3-3 or 4-4-2. Get Thompson one on one with their RB, forcing players to come out of position. I would keep moving him left then centrally, keep West guessing

Re: Darlington v West Auckland
2-1 Darlo. Hunter header from a corner.
Edit. Commentator said Hunter, stadium announcer said Robinson? Who cares, the 2-1 bit is right.
