With Betway we are 4/1 favourites and Salford 9/2.

Spenny are 12/1 which is crazy, reminds me of Ramsbottom at 9/1 for promotion where the bookies just didn't understand the league they just look at club and last seasons positions.

Salford have brought in several players who have experienced promotion at this level, so the bookies certainly haven't looked at any previous league table. The odds look about right in my eyes, with Ossett Town having also brought in a fair few quality replacements. One thing is certain, we really must not pick up from last season's fear factor of other clubs, which ultimately destroyed us. Let them worry about us .... They really need to!

What are Spennymoor's odds to get promoted?

12/1 as it's mentioned above. It's worth a tenner!

Spennymoor are 10/1 now - who has been betting on them?! Backing them each way (top 3 finish) would be tempting if I was allowed to bet on that level of football!

Seems Salford's impressive friendly win over League 2 favourites Bury at the weekend, and our defeat has swayed it their way .... When we go up this year, we're certainly going to have to earn it .....

Seems not .... I suppose the big names behind the scenes will give them a boost but they have signed one or two good players who have proved themselves at this level. The Neville's, main aim, however is to make Salford a local youth hub for central Manchester and anything else would be a bonus .... I expect them to make the play-offs is all.

Spenny look a good price, before the season starts i think it is a 3 horse race between us Salford and Spenny with those who were close last season, Bamber, Warrington, Farsley all just behind.

Hopefully we can put down a marker in the first two games

Salford now 7/2 favourites. We are still 4/1 and Spennymoor are down to 6/1 in some places.

Don't dismiss Warrington too easily. Some good signings and I believe they are financially able. Our first game should be very competitive.
let's get a new FA. This one's broken.

Top two teams odds narrowing as you'd expect. Darlo from 4/1 to 5/2 and Ammies from 7/2 to 7/4 .... Spennymoor now drifting from 4/1 to 6/1 after last nights results ...
