Darlington v Sunderland - Thoughts

Post by Darlofan97 » Sat Jul 19, 2014 6:57 pm

Jameson is looking good for the number 1 spot. He'll definitely make the break-through next year however he's certainly given Gray something to think about.

Hunter played superbly in defence (not often you say that after watching your side concede 5). Mitchell also played very well, seems he was playing as a wide midfielder and not as a winger. Portas had a good game and it is pleasing to see Galbraith back in the middle.

One of the trialists we have is Kyle Fryatt. Young, tricky winger that played at Esh Winning and Sunderland RCA last season. Think he may be worth something if we fail to bring in Mitchell.

Also heard rumours in the tin-shed about us being in for a centre midfielder from Guisborough who was one of their best players last season. Gell?
