Stockdale rumour
Stockdale rumour
Read today in that very credible paper...the sun that Brighton have made a bid of 1mill for stockdale.
Could be rubbish, but though I would mention it. I would expect stockdale to be number 1 and steklenberg to leave

Re: Stockdale rumour
they are talking about it on fulham and brighton forums, saying 1m is a bargain, £90k to us would be great though
only got 1 year on his contract to, what happens if he went for nothing next year, do we get nowt.

Re: Stockdale rumour
Thinking about this. Will he be first choice at Fulham his year? If so will we get more from appearance fees? Or from the sell on clause? Do we know for certain we're still entitled to a sell on clause. Didn't Houghton cash in on some bits?

Think we're about done on appearance fees

Re: Stockdale rumour
Only appearance fees due now are those from Dan Burn, IIRC.
The only way we're going to make money on Stockdale now is through Fulham moving him on, surely he's worth more than that though?!

Re: Stockdale rumour
So we'll get 9% of the undisclosed fee?
I wonder how much he went for. Let's hope it wasn't for £0.00

I've also heard 1 million. Even so 90k is still a decent amount!.Neil_Heaneys_Pace wrote:600k

Even if it was 600k I'd be happy with the 9% which is 54k.
Good amounts of money for our move back to town etc.

Re: Stockdale rumour
We havn't had a bad time since Dan Burn played against Norwich!
£75k - Dan Burn first appearance
£x k - David Stockdale's 50th Fulham appearance (His 40th has happened since which was also rumoured to be the trigger - said to be £12.5k)
£x k - Michael Smith sell on clause
£60k - Share issue
£15k - Sunderland game (conservative estimate)
£54k to £90k - David Stockdale sell on clause
Rumoured...
£x k - Dan Burn's 10th appearance
Potentially £250k+ from none matchdays revenues!

Re: Stockdale rumour
Straight away looking at the potential of £54K as a rumoured minimum. And us having £60K of debt remaining. Surely it makes sense to clear the debt once and for all, and to then invest all future revenues into getting home, and strengthening the team (if needed). It will be a lot easier to attract investment going forwards if there is a clear directive as to what the money will be spent on.

Re: Stockdale rumour
I have absolutely no idea what the terms of any sell on clause might be, but before anyone gets carried away, isn't it usual that these clauses are tied to the profit generated by the sale [therefore account would need to be given to the amount included in the initial transfer] also, wouldn't the adminstrator be entitled to half of the proceeds?dickdarlington wrote:Straight away looking at the potential of £54K as a rumoured minimum. I totally agree, but isnt this what forums are all about getting giddy before reality coms and piss's all over our chips.Maurice_Peddelty wrote:I have absolutely no idea what the terms of any sell on clause might be, but before anyone gets carried away, isn't it usual that these clauses are tied to the profit generated by the sale [therefore account would need to be given to the amount included in the initial transfer] also, wouldn't the adminstrator be entitled to half of the proceeds?dickdarlington wrote:Straight away looking at the potential of £54K as a rumoured minimum. Re: Stockdale rumour
the rumour is that it's 9% to admin, 9% to us.
Also, if the debt it £60k but we aren't paying interest then I wouldn't necessarily wipe it out straight away. If there is interest on the debt, then I would want to wipe a bit out.
