I'm fairly confident of winning the league.

Of the new 4, Spenny will obviously be a threat and you will get Warrington and Bamber.

Would expect Scarborough to be around the Northwich quality.

Don't expect much from Droylsden. I don't know much about Brighouse Town. Really looking forward to it, especially now we have local(ish) derbies against Spenny and Scarborough

Scarborough and Spennymoor home and away both should be cracker

First ever away game was Scarborough midweek the same night Giggs scored that goal against Arsenal in the FA Cup semi.

We won 2-0 think martin Carruthers might he scored. Take it they don't still play at the McCain?

They don't play in Scarborough. They play in Bridlington, but plan to return to Scarborough soon..

There is no McCain Stadium anymore. It is sadly an ex football ground. Its been demolished.

Strange Scarborough being talked about as a derby match - it will take longer to get to Brid than it will to get to the likes of Kendal, Lancaster, Harrogate, Ossett, Brighouse and even the Greater Manchester clubs. Hope it's a Saturday game.

Spennymoor and Scarborough? Bang on. There's me two away games sorted for next season.

I know Kendal and Ossett and Harrogate etc are closer than Scarborough (Bridlington), but I've never heard of them :)

If Rangers played Celtic in Sydney, would you still class it as a derby match?

Not sure people have said it is a derby anyway. It is just an old FL north-east rivalry. Must be near 16/17 years ago now?

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Our derby is Hartlepool. And realistically Spennymoor next season.

Scarborough are a "derbyish", like York and Carlisle, and I suppose Gateshead. Not a fully blown "derby", but plenty of interest nonetheless.

Would love for our first game back in Darlo to be Spennymoor/Scarborough at home.

Lots of stuff off the pitch to be sorted before we get there though.

From what I've seen, there's a lot of excitement from Scarborough at being moved across. Can't wait for it next season.

Yes, most Scarborough fans are happy to be moved north, even though they think it might be a stronger league.

Will be nice to play them again, it's been a while.

Great to have Scarborough and Spenny in our league. Both could rival us for the title but in terms of revenue it should be a real bonus over the teams that left the division and brought nobody.

Warrington also big threats because they are spending the cash in the hope of being in the football league by 2020 or something. Bamber possibly after making the playoffs but I fancy Lancaster to make a run of it this year.

Droylsden only won two games last year and got battered for the most part as they cut their playing budget dramatically so they'll be bottom half easily.

Not sure about Scarborough being then, road from York would be in better condition than moors and coast from darlo.

More likely to have Harrogate

Scarborough, Spenny & Droylsden are 3 in particular I'm looking forward to!

A much more exciting looking league than last season when no particular fixture stood out at the beginning.
