Don't think so mate. I even installed (an old version) of Winamp tonight but I can't even connect through that.

Half time 0-1. Wind behind us in the second half I think. Apparently their scorer Warburton was making a few unkind gestures and mouthing off to the Darlo crowd when he scored.

Darlo + big crowd = 99% chance of a defeat.

Proof we are not a Phoenix club!

Darlington v Curzon Ashton Match Thread

Post by Darlo Till I Die » Wed Mar 19, 2014 9:51 pm

Safe to say it's the worst performance I've seen from us up to now since dropping down to the northern League.

But look at the league table... The proof is in the pudding as they say. How many of you would be bouncing up and down, if we were 3rd at this stage 4 years ago?

Onwards and upwards

not upset with the position we are in so much, but have some concerns about our performances against the top teams

We are starting to look very thin on the ground, the kid tonight looked totally out of his depth.

Pants down, arses well and truly slapped.Curzon are a different class to anyone else in this league and deserve to be where they are. They are doing just what we did to the Pitchfork league last year

Just got back, boy are we missing Hunter Scott and now Jordan, where was Harrison? I thought 2nd half we might get a few, how wrong i was, fair play to them they handled the conditions much better than us, bad day at the office!

Couldn't really find the words for that performance, so i'll let Will do it for me.

Hats off the Curzon though, that's what we need to finish like.

Totally outplayed tonight, yes the wind was bad but we just seemed to have no idea how to deal with it whereas they just kept it simple on the deck. Overall they just seemed better organised and fitter than us.

We have failed to win 7 times at home now this season, maybe we should aim for 5th!

Abysmal. Really hard to find positives. Not enough players. Not enough team work and Dowson or Purewal just can't seem to finish convincingly?!

Not a flap after tonight, but generally they just aren't convincing.

As has been said I thought "they'll struggle second half and we can grab one". Haha. Did they nowt! They defended high in the second half and every long ball over ran. And the Thomo thing worked a treat "let's wind him up and put 5 men on him". Not a sniff.

Let's put the team together our crowds suggest we should be! How bankrolled are curzon?

Aim for second now.
