I believe we should contact Quaker oats UK and show them we are a perfect parrtner for them here, I'm sure a savvy promotional person could come up with a great way to link the two!

Why not contact Quaker Oats. Now owned by the PepsiCo corporation who have annual sales approaching 100 billion dollars. Must be able to spare a bob or two for helping us to return to our Quaker roots in Darlington.
Our histories are closely aligned too.
1877 Quaker Oats first registered as trademark
1881 Henry Crowell buys bankrupt Quaker Mill, and the brand name " Quaker "
1882 First national advertising campaign for a breakfast cereal.
1883 Our famous club is formed. Nicknamed the "Quakers", as all the players
ate the breakfast cereal every day.
Since when both us and the Quaker Oats company have gone from strength to strength. Ah......
