Why did we design a bespoke black & white Wycombe Wanderers kit?

And why, if we are going through the hassle of a bespoke kit don't we just get plain black & white hoops?

Why can't the sponsor be black/grey. Ruins the shirt a little for me.

i cant see why anyone would pick number one or two, the only good part of two is the quick delivery

i cant understand why there is only on hooped option either, hoops are as important as our colours!

I think you are not aware of the clubs history.

I didn't mean for it to sound like that. No need to take it out of context.

But if the sponsor was maybe black/grey then it'll look more attractive and maybe lead to more shirt sales? Increased income for the club and also more recognition for cosyseal?

Well number 3 will win if it is the fans voting. I will never forget that Locomotive Darlington ended up remarkably high on the new name vote though...

I agree that there should be more hooped designs. However, I actually prefer number 2. Number 3 doesn't look right - the white band with the sponsors logo on is wider than the others. And the "hoops" don't go all the way round, making them horizontal stripes not hoops (spoken like a true pedant).

Anyway, it's nice to get a choice.

At least they got rid of what were apparantely blue shorts (is that real?). It is plain to see that b&w hoops are our most consistent kit type. We had squares fewer time that we had red splashes!

I've just been looking at that page as well. Safe to say we've had a few differing designs over the years.

I've voted kit 3 as I do prefer hoops. However for some reason I don't actually mind kit 1.

Dilemma here - and the club have been very canny so hats off to them.

They've given us our preferred option which will clearly be number 3 from a looks perspective but also the option for a cheaper and more readily available shirt which we've mentioned on here.

I expect 3 will win as most people will be swayed by the looks but I hope they accept potential supply issues

You think we have had a variety...look at Burnley!

http://historicalkits.co.uk/Burnley/Burnley.htm

They went from Solid Black -> Blue/White stripes -> Solid Blue -> Red/Amber stripes -> Black/Yellow stripes -> Pink/White stripes -> Solid Red -> Solid Green before they eventually settled on maroon and light blue.

To be honest I like all of the kits mentioned.

If I'm backing recent times then kit number 3. Although looking from a neutral perspective I'd go for kit number 2 or 1 as 3 looks awful in reality.

On a personal note I prefer 3, from the point of view of someone working in club shop I'd go for 2 simply for the quicker turn around. I'm hoping delivery problems have been ironed out...

We should wear hoops always, however I really don't like design 3 - what is that shoulder patch all about?

I really like kit 1, just for a change it'd be a good one off kit.

I also don't mind kit 2, though it reminds me of getting relegated from the league.

I'll probably vote 1.

They have been quite explicit about the delivery time scales.

If we can get the kit agreed by the end of this month I would start taking pre-orders then. That gives until the end of April to may that first order and get a batch in by the end of June.

Assuming we have a markup on the kits (whatever that may be) reinvest the profits which are due as part of the same order in more stock (the sizes of additional stock can either be done pro-rata or on analysis of sales from this season).

That means we will be certain to be breakeven from that first batch of kits but have a load of stock to sell which are pure profit once they leave the shelves.

Very little risk attached (other than pre-orders not being fulfilled) and pro-actively avoids stock issues we have had this season.

Got to admit, the more I look at them, the more I'm liking kit 1.
