Some impressive results tonight, just shows this league is up and down. Burscough beating Farsley away from home is the pick of the bunch. Bamber have really come on and our 3-0 result at their place looks even more impressive now, probably our best performance this season. Time for us to put a run together

we really have to win our 1,2 and 3 games in hand on a lot of the teams above and below us now.

It was only 2-0 at half time too and one player scored 7 (seven) of Fylde's goals!

Wow he must have prayed extra hard before the game then, because god really does care about individual performances in minor football matches.

By the way, one player scored 5 and his brother or sur-namesake scored 2.

I've seen Droylsden this season and they are woeful. It's a few weeks since I saw them but at that point they hadn't won a game all season, I don't think this has changed since and they are regularly shipping 5+ goals.

They're team is pretty young and as I understand it the chairman/manager has stopped plunging money in. To the point where I am not even sure the players are being paid.

That club could quite realistically end up back in the Manchester league before long as fans won't be turning up to too many more games like that.

According to the non-league review Fylde have some serious money invested in them. Must be something about the NW coast.

They have a plan to get into the Football League by 2022. If you visit the "Journey to 2022" is all over the place. The corporate facilities (a portacabin) have some interesting pictures information about their new ground plans.

They have a 2 stands and the rest of the ground is put together with portacabins. The 3 changing rooms, bar and corporate entertainment area are all made like this the major feature of their development is the new stand with incorporated features.

This demonstrates to me how big an expense a main stand is with built in dressing rooms etc. this is such a big barrier which has been overcome with the move to the Rugby club. The cost of erecting the rest of the ground around the clubhouse at DRFC will be miniscule compared to the cost of that facility.

Just a thought.
Whatever happened to the east stand from Feethams?
