TIN SHED
Re: TIN SHED
Some of us remember Feethams before that new fangled cover was put up.
It was great at the start of the season to watch the Cricket before the match & half time... bet the cricket players did not enjoy the " encouragement " from the North Terrace fans.
Mind it was bloody freezing if the wind was blowing from the North...it usually was, not too bad in a duffle coat, a balaclava & black & white scarf both hand knitted by your mam

I for one will miss the place but thank the lord after 11 or 12 years the fans can finally move on!

Re: TIN SHED
wasn't there talks of us getting to keep the tin shed for when we find a new ground? Or was this just some kind of Chinese whisper?
If it was true, I have no idea where it would be stored let alone having a ground to move to. Not heard anything on that subject for a while.

Re: TIN SHED
What happened to this then?
http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/news/9 ... r_to_club/
Is the tin shed going into storage or is that it gone never to return?
Could be some cheap (free!) materials for our new ground if the former!

I would suspect it's gone never to return because otherwise someone would have made a big song and dance about them saving it.lo36789 wrote:What happened to this then?

Also, in almost every avenue of building it is cheaper to start from scratch than to try and resurrect a derelict building.
Onwards and upwards. Lets look back on the old girl fondly, but look forward to new horizons...wherever they may be.

According the echo the frame work is going to be stored in a warehouse in faverdale until it can be suitably relocated (if needed).
The horizon for now, is a lengthy stint in Bishop I would think.
