Is it a Gateshead first team we're playing or a select XI, do we know?

Best bet is get the X9 from Boro, get off at Heworth, from there you can take the Metro 2 stops to Gateshead Stadium Station, or jump on the Number 94 bus from Heworth.

Going to Gateshead Interchange, then get the 93

The 93/94 is a looped route, so make sure you get the 94 from Heworth or the 93 from Gateshead, as you could end up on the long way round the loop

If you want to get the Metro, Gateshead Interchange would be your best bet, it is one stop and one zone, costing about £1.70 single, I don't think Metro do returns, so a daysaver is probably the best bet at £2.50, I think.

Going from Heworth on the other hand takes you through 2 zones and is about £2.70 single and £3.50 for the daysaver. The zone boundary falls at Felling right between Heworth and Gateshead Stadium

The best is to get the bus from Heworth as I mentioned a few posts back
