Excellent work by the DFC board, don't think many people thought that they would improve on the Echo sponsorship deal.

Great work!
Re: Shirt Sponsor Announced
That's a great deal. I thought we'd struggle to get close to the echo deal, but to improve on it is fantastic. Well done to those involved in the process (Verony I presume?).
EDIT: And I've just realised that it's confirmed as only for the home shirts. Brilliant work by the club.

Re: Shirt Sponsor Announced
This is ridiculous, it makes me question who we have in charge of the club.
How can we have individuals that are clearly quite savvy in terms of commercial sponsorship doing these operations?
Surely we need to have fans making these sorts of decisions, because we are the only mass audience that are well informed and experienced in the field.
And with a 2 year deal that means I won't get to vote on our sponsor next season either. Since I love voting so much I might have to start watching reality TV to get my fix.
In seriousness, well done all involved and I hope this is equally as beneficial to CosySeal sounds like a good local venture!

Re: Shirt Sponsor Announced
Excellent work - to increase what we got per annum from the Echo by 50% and to secure it for twice the period of time is a great bit of business - £15k covers a huge amount of expenditure and presumably has allowed us to do the charity bit for the away shirt out of shear goodwill/PR.
Well done to all involved.

Congratulations to both parties. Well done to the commercial team at DFC. I also think that this will be a good investment for Cosy Seal, so everyone's a winner.
Re: Shirt Sponsor Announced
Not a bad cut for Verony......
Let's not go there!!

Great Work, well done to Verony and the whole team.

Re: Shirt Sponsor Announced
Great deal, especially when you consider they are only getting 50% of what the Echo did in that it's only the home shirt.
Re: Shirt Sponsor Announced
And here is the actual shirt.
Looks better in real life than the sketch, only slight complaint is the colour of the sponsors logo looks a bit odd (but as it's bringing us £30k I don't mind too much )

Re: Shirt Sponsor Announced
For 15k a year they could print 'Jazz Maverick Is A Cunt' on the front for all I care.

Expect a call from someone at the club regarding shirt sponsorship for 2015/16.Jazz Maverick wrote:For 15k a year they could print 'Jazz Maverick Is A Cunt' on the front for all I care.

Re: Shirt Sponsor Announced
I must elaborate I'm not paying the 15 grand myself, that would just be daft
Re: Shirt Sponsor Announced
Fantastic work by all involved, 30k over two years at this level is major money. If we can just have a little cup run as well, that'd be grand.

Re: Shirt Sponsor Announced
Have to say the shirt looks a lot better than the prints we were shown before.
Grats on getting the sponsors on board too, clearly a forward thinking company currently doing a lot of work at Catterick too, my house is about a foot thicker now

Re: Shirt Sponsor Announced
The fact it is a 2 year deal is as good as the amount of money involved. Gives the club a bit of stability & let's the board plan the next couple if years with at least some actual income set rather than all speculated.
