Have we ever had a report on TV or radio where there hasn't been mistakes?

This is very shoddy work to say the least by the production staff, it is their responsibility to gather the relevant and correct information. This was just pure laziness and really should be held up in front of BBC bosses for broadcasting incorrect information!

Always make mistakes regarding the smaller clubs. That is because they pretend to be interested and it looks good if they cover the smaller clubs, but really these people don't give a monkeys, it is a shame as I used to know clem quite well when he was at BBC tees. Him and bob fisher used to phone me up during the Reynolds era. In his defence I personally think he read his auto q wrong. Emms and Ennis might look the same. Similar could happen with amar and mark, it's how your brain works. Clem obviously has no interest in the club so will not know any of the players names.

No offence Scott but Clem does about an hour on LKO and maybe a 10min slot for focus on a weekly basis that's his TV wrapped up. Dunno what he does for Tees on radio.

If I have a presentation at work, I don't rely on getting the stuff on the day and reading it. Bare minimum you give it the once over. It would have taken him 10-15 minutes to read over what he had to say. I don't believe for a second his schedule is too jam packed for that.

It is poor and lazy presenting.

Tell you one thing that nugget from Hartlepool, Ivan. He only did our games once or twice a season but he was always quite well informed.

Forgetting someone's name is one thing but to not take a small effort to get a name right is actually incredibly rude.

Which I understand completely, but in the grand scheme of things, Id rather an article that praises our achievements be aired with some incorrect names and maybe gets us another couple of fans than no article at all.

Id rather not give anyone the opportunity to say something along the lines of

"I see Darlo have have been promoted, their fans will pick up on any mistake made, completely overlook any positive message we portray because of it, you know what lets run the story on the cat being rescued instead"

Lets face it to actually have us mentioned along with the coverage last week is a miracle TBH were very small fish now competing against the Horse punchers, Nazi party and a small team on the Tees

22.20 for anyone who doesn't want to watch loads about how rubbish Newcastle and Boro are!

Glad to see we are back to being Darlington. Poor mistakes for the names, and a mistake which shouldn't be made, but good that we are getting some coverage. It's frustrating that we only get it when we win the title, but it's better than nothing.
