A bit early isn't it. seeing as both teams are based there. I'd suggest that if there's an inspection this early then folk may as well make other arrangements now.

not really that early. A lot of the match day helpers have to get there 2 hours early to get things sorted.

At the moment I think that the inspection is just a precaution. We haven't had a great amount of rain today, won't get a lot overnight, but could get some heavy rain in the morning.

If the pitch isn't too saturated right now and the forecast is accurate, we should be OK.

From what I hear its 50/50 - pitch took a hammering at BA's last home game.

You'd hope so, although a pitch inspection 2 and a half hours before doesn't seem excessively early to me.
