Seating behind goal

Possibly the worst bit of planning I've seen, what a waste!

It's basically reduced the ground by one end, no one in the right mind is going to pay to sit in the rain. Tonight it showed.
Either get the roof on or take it down.

Even with the roof on you'll still get soaked unless you're right at the back of the stand. For those who object to that seating being there, it may be no good for you but is essential for disabled/elderly supporters who need to sit. For that point I do think it was a good idea to erect the stand whether it has a roof or not.

Could of been much smaller.

I thought we needed a stand at the time but it has proven that it is of little use in its current state.

Learning game for the board on this one.

Easy to say in hindsight, but I generally agree it hasn't been much use without the roof..

We had more people wanting seats than we had seats so the board had to do something.

It's easy to sit back and say what a waste of money right now, but the seats are now an asset owned by us and might come in useful at the next ground, if they can be somehow turned into a permanent roofed structure.

On a milder/Warmer day without rain I'm sure it will be used more. When its wet its better to stand anyway as you get less wet. Depending on wind direction I'm not sure a roof would make that much difference.

Because if your sat down you legs get soaked as oppose to the rain landing on your jacket and dripping off.

Board to blame for it raining now. Stop moaning. You have a club. You have volunteers running a club better than it was run by so called business people. What do you want blood. Stand up do it yourself put your own money in if you can do better or shut up complaining unless YOU do something to help
