pitch inspection around 3pm

Post by uncovered » Fri Nov 30, 2012 1:04 pm

Just spoke to Colin, there is a local referee coming to the ground around 3pm. We have called him in as the ground is rock hard at the moment and the temperatures are set to drop. Doesn't look good.

Keeping my fingers crossed as I am about to set off on the 6 hour drive south.

No the temperatures AREN'T set to drop! It is clouding over and the temperature will not drop before 8, I said this earlier.

That pitch will be playable by 8, doing an inspection at 3 is FAR too early!

I wouldn't be surprised if there's another inspection at around 5pm

Frost hasn't budged all day in the shade. Can't see this one on.

Doubt we could - surely there's a reason we had to play it tonight?

We can't. Heritage Park isn't available, hence why the game was due to be played tonight.

Get scott & sizer on the phone! I'm sure the arena pitch will be playable....

In all seriousness though it probably wouldn't be any different tomorrow, can see a few games getting canned this weekend.
