Shirt Sponsors

Post by Magical Quakers » Tue Jul 21, 2009 11:43 am

I know the new kit has yet to be seen (although someone at the club must have a picture of what they have ordered that they could leak to the world...?), but does anyone know if we have a main shirt sponsor this year?

Is it still DBS? Am sure I read somewhere that this agreement was ending and that they weren't happy with the way DFC did business with them - has this changed now Raj is riding to the rescue?

the club are currently actively looking for new sponsors, however i dont know if the shirt sponsor will be one of them.

maybe we'll bear raj's prestige group as a sponsor.

I'd be impressed if we got Orange again.

Surely Bannatyne would be worth tapping for sponsorship?
I know he's said he'd never own a football club etc etc, but what does he have against sponsoring one?

He has only shut one club in Glasgow. My lass is PA to one of his directors and she says there is no chance of him sponsoring us, and seconds the fact that he is indeed tighter than a ducks arse.
The credit crunch is causing him a problem either profit have been constantly on the up especially from the Spa side.
