Some quick questions, how easy is it to get hold of the following player statistics for the NL.

Appearances (inc. substitutions)
Disciplinary (Yellow/Red Cards)
Goals Scored

& the primary 'position' of the players registered for clubs in the NL Div1

Furthermore, is there any sort of deadline on player registrations - is there an expected date when registrations will be mostly done by?

Registrations will be ongoing. There is no deadline so to speak as players can move about freely during the season with use of the 7 day rule

This is going to be a very interesting and strange season!

I understand that registrations are on going but is there a date when they must have a minimum of say 16 players registered by for instance.

I am more interested in knowing though (probably directing this more at those that are more familiar with the league) is there a date when squads become 'settled', is there that much movement in the 2/3 weeks before the season start for instance.

Players move round clubs all the time, quite a lot in the first weeks of a season as players don't like being benched.
And as pointed out, if they aren't under contract they are free to do so

I'm sorry I haven't replied. I'm currently gagged and bound

Are you joking you have done so much!

Not quite true Sam as no transfers/registrations can be done past 31st March.

No unless you contract all players. I asked Martin Gray this question and he said non-contracted players can move with 7 days notice, subsequently confirmed on the NLZ. In fact it is the very reason Andy Toman refuses to manage NL anymore. I tend to agree with him.

Bishop are home 9 times in the first 23 matches, whereas we are home 14 times.

Bishop are at home on Boxing Day as well as opening day, and while there is no guarantee that any club will be at home on those two dates, there would obviously be hell on if we were assigned a home match in preference of Bishop on those dates - it is their ground after all!

As for the opinion expressed about Darlo fans… meh. It’s just the same old thought-averse guff that every other pointing, gawping, Northern League villager with an axe-to-grind / pitchfork-to-shake has cobbled together about us.

When you look into the NCE it does look like a significantly better run organisation than the Royston Vasey Invitational Clown Challenge that we've ended up in.

Great, we get to use the pitch more while there's still some grass on it!

Was this a response to the Realistic Attendances thread. If so, Cheers Quakerz.

From a Bishop point of view I would not be happy if we got opening game or Boxing Day games at home and they have given us final game of the season at home. Just hits home more that we are a club with out a home, grateful to Bishop though.
