The Quakerhouse will be hosting an Acoustic Night in aid of Darlington FC on Saturday 14th July from 8:30pm, so pop along after you've been to the match at Whitby.

There's always some fine talented musicians on show at these Acoustic nights, and this one promises to be great too.

Originally it was going to be with the view of sponsoring a player in the name of The Quakerhouse, but as the uptake has been spectacular on player sponsorships we'll be donating all the proceeds to the football club in some other way if non are available.

The night will be hosted by Dave Cadman, the regular host of the Acoustic night at the Quakerhouse, who'll be getting up and playing a few songs himself.

If you're interested in taking part and playing a couple of songs then either reply here or PM me and we'll sort it out.

More details to follow shortly.

I'm just waiting to hear back from Dave, so I'll update this as soon as I know.

This will be £3 to get in and will be upstairs in the Quakerhouse, the regular spot for Monday nights Open Acoustic nights.

We're putting together a list of talented local musicians to entertain you for the night, and there'll also be a raffle.

I'll update this with who's playing at a later date.
