From time to time you get people that appear on here and always seem to have a cob on about opinions.
"It's only an opinion" they say. "I'm entitled to my opinion" they complain. "You did x, y and z to this person because you didn't agree with their opinion" they shout.
Opinions are NOT immune to consequences, and moderators get to decide what is and isn't acceptable.
Gadaffi and Hussein both had different opinions on stuff to normal people.
Yeah and they weren't too keen on allowing other people to express their opinions as well!
Do you remember when some bloke asked for you to be banned? He was rightly ignored but what if a mod agreed with him?
I dont think you get it do you, if i banned everyone whose opinion I didnt agree with then there would only be a select few people left, I`ve also had to tone myself down as well because you cant do the `do as I say not as I do` routine.
This board is an unofficial forum, however its been a fantastic tool used to help the fight of saving Darlo FC.
Each person who has recieved a banning has been looked at individually and also go through a process before being banned completley. The why`s and wherefores I`m not prepared to discuss with you, we do that as a moderation team.
Having the board in an uproar is not an option, media outlets watch this board, I`ve personally seen threads on this board quoted in Newspapers the next day. Information from this board making it to the tv and the radio, not too bad for an unofficial message board but thats the way it is.
When folk disagree we do listen and sometimes act accordingly. However on the subject of the person you are dsicussing being banned I personally feel it was the right thing to do. Now if you reply I`ll get to it at some point but I have a busy day ahead of me which will finish sitting in a pub with the twitter ladies
