Despite Scott trying to steal our thunder earlier, I present you...

Should explain a bit more clearly (we sincerely hope!) what we're up to and what we're trying to achieve.

Questions in the Ask 1883 forum will get copied to the FAQ section of the websites too.

We'll try and add a totaliser (or at least keep you updated regularly on here) but it's a manual process this time, so please bear with us.

Perhaps it's an indication of how long it will really take. After Darlington has already been granted city status.

I see it still says "city"

Whilst I appreciate it is well down the to do list to change it to "town", the problem has been known for three days, and the mistake shouldn't really have been made in the first place.
