Agree, stood out by a mile, where is he from, whats his pasts clubs, mind you, Mark Conv didnt do his chances of coming back any harm either, thought he had a good game as well.

former boro midfielder was at mk dons a few seasons ago and released by brentford last year, his talent wasnt in doubt but he'd missed a fair chunk of time out injured.

if he can stay fit he'll be a massive asset.

His performance on Saturday has I think pushed me over the season ticket threshold. He was excellent.

sounds like he had a good game v mags on saturday. IF he can stay fit i hope he will be a good signing.

no, thats lumsdon, altho he's also impressed, as has jeff smith on the left, its not all doom & gloom.

course its not all doom an gloom yet anyway! newcastle have kept a premiership team stil barring owen,so if we had players that you thought stood out then we should defo give em more time an hope we can hold our own :!:

Newcastle have kept a team not good enough for the Premiership, not a Premiership team.
