Darlo In FHM

Post by uncovered » Tue Mar 20, 2012 5:03 pm

After being in contact with FHM during January it was great to meet up with them during one of our recent games.

Feethams rocked on many a day under Frank Gray & Brian Little

Loved that ground before the health & safety shitearses stopped you walking from Polam to the Tin Shed at half-time

We were the last ground to be able to change ends I believe in Feethams. First went at age 11 and will always look back fondly on it.

Stand behind the goal, if in Polam end and raining often worth paying to get in the paddock. Great Days.

I saw that very disappointing didnt realise we had to put money up front to get an act to play at the stadium, I just assumed the promoter footed the initial bill and then the ticket sales funded the rest.
It would have sold out easily.

Agreed, many people would have paid to listen to his bollocks, not literally of course.

Luckily our photo must have been so terrible it was dropped!

Have to say its a good article - I would like to hope it does bring the attention back to the club and possibly some donations

Yes I saw that one - just hiding in the back in that one! I thought he was taking Karen's photo
I meant the posed one (selling shares) - it must have looked really fake

Slightly OTT in parts but inspiring article although and this made me chuckle "Its been 129 years of brilliant football" (erm, yes who needs Barca). But credit to everybody mentioned. In particular, nice to see young lads like Harry and James in the article. Saw their enterprising spirit at the York game and they deserve a bloody good mention. The future.

You can still do this at Brunton Park, a few times this season i've moved from the paddock to the Warrick Road stand and vise versa.

Supporting DARLO might be a heartache but it's a heartache I chose to have.

i just want to say a big well done to whoever sorted all this out with FHM and to all those within it. It is a very good article probably some of the best coverage we've had given our local newspapers seem to prefer the doom and gloom I find this refreshing and positive...hopefully will entice a few more shareholders!
