FAO Mikky. - if there is enough in this thread to justify it I 'll turn this into a database. We could also do with getting the records from the club that ST applications included volunteer info. Sadly it was never followed up.

We'll see how it goes. If the future justifies a site rebuild I could integrate it too.

Count me in! can do most things, turnstiles, shop, tickets, CRB checked, I also run my own handy woman business so could also offer to do some odd jobs. My dad said he would help out too.

Count me in too. Not as old as you lot, but sure I could bring something to the team and would be willing to help. I'm currently studying a degree in Mech Eng but I'm good with numbers and computers, so admin/ticketing would be quite easy. I'd like to think I could probably bring a fresh impetus or ideas in too :)

This is fucking excellent....football club?....we could start our own country at this rate....

I am exceedingly well qualified in naff all that will be of use to darlo, in whichever guise. In the short-term, consider me a pair of hands to do anything that needs to be done.

In reality, i'm a research and ops manager who would probably be best suited to BD/marketing activities that could be done remotely. Got some ideas on networking that will be useful from a commercial perspective but maybe also something to do with bringing clubs closer together, esp at non-league level.....maybe with LinkedIn or the like.....

Unless of course i've overlooked the need for synthetic organic chemistry....

Like a few others on here I do web stuff. More a programmer these days. ASP.net, php (more in the past but sure I can pick that language up again) and database design and development.

I've worked in the ticket office before, edited the club programme for six months before I headed for pastures new a few years back and obviously done a lot of written media work for the club. More than happy to supply those services if need be.

I am an Accountant and will help wherever I can even if it involves manning the turnstiles or counting cash or general admin work, anything to help with our survival.

I can help out with the media work, be it copy writing, audio or video work. Would be willing to do anything though to help.

However I wouldn't be able to help IF the club went bust and ended up in the Northern League or even the Wearside League because I'm a reporter at a station which covers these divisions.

I couldn't exactly claim to be impartial if I'm working at a club in a league I'm reporting on! However hopefully it won't come to that.

Main job working for Virgin Media in a contact centre, doesn't really offer much relating to DFC and what's required. However I do still maintain my part time role in Harvey's as a general dogs body, experienced in supervising and working under pressure serving customers etc...I would happily volunteer (work permitting) to helping out in any way shape or form.

Dn1

Edit: I also possess my personal license, so if we currently lack anybody at the club who has the legal requirements to support the sale of alcohol, and if it can be done, I will happily offer this as well.

Anything you need a hand in on the web development front, count me in. It's one thing I can do 'remotely' from Lincolnshire. Lots of experience with community type sites.

It's certainly one of the best and easiest to use fan forums, having trawled my way around a few in the last 24 hours trying to drum up support :D

I don't think anyone should underestimate the need for German language skills in the day-to-day running of an English non-league football club, so I can see myself having a busy few weeks ahead...

Should have qualified that - I meant the integration of the whole site.

Now, I'll get back 'on-topic' .... also 30 years experience in education so can help advise on reaching out to the young to get their interest in sport, football and citizenship.

Already a Darlo Photographer, can write articles & match reports. More than happy to help out with promotional stuff, e.g posters. Also have language qualifications, although I doubt we'll be needing them!
