Spiralling out of control.

Post by ted_do » Mon Jan 09, 2012 8:33 pm

With every news story and post the whole sorry saga that is Darlington football club spirals low and lower, now we are all turning on each other and if ever their was a need for all supporters groups to stick together its now. Some fans need to grow up but also some in the public eye also need to man up.

Come on lets keep it together.

I agree with you. It's a bit sad to see a sensible comment met with a barrage of quotes from a 30-year old movie.

I just want to bump your original message and ask everyone else posting here for their thoughts on it all.

My own thoughts on the current situation are here.

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=16073&p=198985#p198985

I think we're all looking for leadership and that should come from the Trust. I really think they need to issue a call for unity by holding an EGM and inviting everyone along to join-on-the-door and have their say. It doesn't necessarily need to result in a slanging match - not if they reach out to people in the right way. Unfortunately the few posters on here who seem to have crawled out of the woodwork to speak for the Trust seem to be a bit "off" with people in my opinion.

Something's got to change.

About the £50k - I have no opinion on that as there are people here who are far shrewder than I when it comes to such matters, but these are exactly the kind of people who the Trust should be inviting along to an Extraordinary General Meeting.

I think we're in the Trust's hands - currently capable or not.
