Ha ha ha. This must be the biggest wind up of all time.
UB40 - named after a document issued to people claiming unemployment benefit.
Oh the irony.

havent heard about it- but 30,000 does seem a teeny tiny bit optimistic if it ISNT The real deal!
The Northern Echo Arena is a 24,000 seater stadium home to Darlington Football Club.
Would be very nice if UB40 played up here!

Brilliant back in the day, saw them a few times including Rotters in Liverpool but not sure I'd go now with all the infighting in the band.

Re: UB40
I've seen posters for concert on local buses around town. Not interested as it doesn't involve the footie club and I see it as a last effort by the Rugby Club to stay afloat.

Re: UB40
I saw UB40 years ago back home in a leisure centre... Suddenly they're going to fill the arena? Very ambitious

Re: UB40
I heard it was going to be standing only, in an all seater stadium, bizarre.

With DFC paying DRFC's bills and then more rent for 20 years, they shouldn't be going bust.Darlo_Pete wrote:I've seen posters for concert on local buses around town. Not interested as it doesn't involve the footie club and I see it as a last effort by the Rugby Club to stay afloat.
DRFC are also making money from DFC fans on other provisions like food and drink.
If DFC had a share on music events, beer festivals, night time functions etc. there would be a far bigger income possibilities for the two clubs to share.

Take that sweet smelling cigarette and throw it down the toilet. That's it, well done. Now, get rid of those empty bottles, you've had quite enough of that strong stuff for one night. Now, clean your teeth, go to bed and when you wake in the morning, don't revisit this thread as you'll realise why everybody else on this board is having just a teeny weeny giggle at your expense.
Thanks
