Aside from the scoreline there was some decent defending by Darlo, the ball was passed along the ground rather than just being lobbed up front and Smith looked strong with good ball control. Additional quality strikeforce will be required to get the wins. Be good to see how the 'new' Darlo perform against comparable opposition within the same league.

I agree, too much negativity - after all we are 3 leagues below Sunderland. The crowd was good and Newcastle should be bigger, much needed revenue is what these games are about really, and maybe we can get a half decent youngster on loan too!
