When are Wembley tickets sent out?

This has probably been asked somewhere else but just wondered when tickets should arrive? Didn't notice anything on the site when I booked them and doesn't say anything in my confirmation e-mail either?

Been into the club this morning to pick up my Wembley 2011 home kit. Mentioned tickets and was told that we should have them about a week before the game. They also mentioned that they are expecting us to take around 10k. 4500 sold already.

Most gig tickets are usually sent out the week prior to the event, so it might be similar for us.

Sounds like standard Ticketmaster procedures, I wouldnt expect to see mine until the end of april at the earliest

Why does it matter? It makes far more sense to send 7000 or so out in one job lot about 10 days before, rather than sending a few hundred out every few days.

What were you planning on doing with your ticket over the next 4 weeks? Wiping your arse with it?

I suppose it makes sense really, if they haven't been sent out they can't get misplaced / lost / eaten by household pets etc.

Andrew, your article in the Gazette suggests that if Hatch picks up a booking tomorrow he'll be rested until Wembley in case of suspension. Cooper has said that the slate is wiped clean on the second Sunday in April. Who is right ?

Well spotted. Cooper did say that on radio, but when I put it to him yesterday he said it's any 15 bookings up to end of season. That's right, it is. The club has done its homework and will make sure Hatch can play at Wembley.

Thanks Andrew. I looked it up myself meantime. The second Sunday of April ruling relates to 10 bookings. 15 bookings runs til the end of the season.

Believe me a week before the event is too tight, 7 days suddeny becomes 6, becomes 5, becomes oh I want to travel down south 2 days before the game so where does that leave me! When Ticketmaster do cock up ticket distribution believe me I know from personal experiance they are idiots with non on prepared to help you (and neither will the club)! Fingers crossed then.

I think Ticketmaster know what they're doing when it comes to distributing tickets. The club don't need to put a statement out.

Tickets a week before a gig / event is perfectly normal. I've used TicketMaster for gigs up and down the country and sporting events in the states loads of times and they've always got my tickets to be in good time. You'll have no problem with them.
