Sounds good. I've got good vibes about this season. Maybe, just maybe, we could have a good season.

Sounds very promising,we've been missing a player who can put his foot on the ball and dictate play since maddo retired and to a certain extent keltie. You just have to be careful you don't slow the play down too much tho. He could turn out to be the player I thought lumsdon would be for us

Quotes from rushden fans:

"However much of a t**t he was, he was still in my opinion our best player last year and we will miss him a lot this year!"

"I agree. He "knitted" the back and front together very well. Just a shame he couldn't keep it in his trousers."

"Very True and worked well as Byrne had the legs and energy to do a lot of the leg work allowing Terry to thread the balls through the defence or out wide."

Especially like the last bit, as Chandler has the legs and energy to do his running for him. So do Smith, and Waite, for that matter.

Another player like Brough & Austin who knows how to mix it at this level to get results.
The squad is looking good now, maybe need another wide player I think
