Tell you what, if this consortium really does need only a month to get sorted, then Raj doing this either indicates he is skint or hes being a twat.

I'm not convinced that any consortium is near being ready within a few weeks.

Enjoyed your holiday Singh, you are a disgrace, no morals, no feelings, just 1 more month needed, just sod off and never set foot in the ground or Darlington again.

I'm sure he could've kept the club going for a month. What was the point in making the cuts if he can't hand the club over?

Perhaps its time that this consortium comes forward and states who they are and their intentions, otherwise it will be too late if we are going into admin. Maybe Andrew Wilkinson can shed more light on this, if true.

spoke to Jane in the DFC office (always helpful, feel really sorry for staff) she said Raj got back late last night and hasnt been to the stadium yet. They havan't been told of any admin yet.

With the 10 point deduction we will have a massive problem not getting relegated especially as we will be playing our youth team, thanks Singh, the worst chairman we have ever had without doubt.

Why would he feel the need to tell his staff.

He's kept them in the dark this long so why change now.

His logic could be that the consortium has given no indication that there's anything to back up their interest, and if another month goes by and they dont come up with anything he'll be another £200k down or whatever the figure he loses every month is. Singh strikes me as a massive drama queen, but not someone who would do something out of pure spite like Houghton.

It still disgusts me how chairmen are not held responsible in any way for this sort of thing. When you buy a football club you buy everything that goes with it, you shouldn't be able to buy something with such proud history and importance to people as a football club and walk away scott free without so much as a black mark on your credit rating when you get sick of it or it stops working for you.

So his business/holiday trip to India/Dubai didn't go that well, all I can say is good, hope he had a miserable time. If we go into administration is relegation by two leagues automatic or can that be avoided?

The news was broken to them by the Echo. Absolutely no communication from the club whatsoever.
