CIC subscriptions
CIC subscriptions
Apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere. It says on the 1883cic.org website that to become a member is £100 and that includes subscriptions for the whole of the 2012/13 season. If I have understood the concept correctly, it is going to be £100 membership, followed up with an annual subscription? If so, have prices been set for the subscriptions?
Thanks
Thanks

where we play in the short term isn't an issue....the fact we are playing at all is important!!

Re: CIC subscriptions
I asked this question, the reply (from Laura): Initial sub is £100 for a year, then will around be £10-£20 to renew annually. There will be membership benefits, to be announced at a later date.

Re: CIC subscriptions
Fair enough, with that and the 1883 draw it makes a couple of extra little income streams.

Re: CIC subscriptions
Personally I'd set it at £25, alongside some decent benefits. Perhaps discounted when buying with a season ticket. An affordable amount whilst still raising a decent amount each year.
Stating the obvious, we need as wide a membership as possible which will ensure the football club, through the CIC shareholding, remains community focused. Also fundraising by the fans or supporters groups should be channelled into the CIC to increase its shareholding over time.

Re: CIC subscriptions
Thanks for the reply. Sounds OK to me. I was slightly worried it was going to be £100 a year! Only slightly worried though.

Re: CIC subscriptions
I'm checking on the age issue, but have no problem with more than one membership being paid for at the same time, and the same email address being used for more than one person.darlotoon wrote:Any age limit for membership ie are under 18s allowed ? can you set up more than one subscription from an email address ? If in doubt, drop me a line at questions@1883cic.org
